I’m a photographer and graphic designer from Abbotsford, BC.
Most of my photography comes from simply getting outside. I take my camera with me when I’m hiking, exploring somewhere new, spending time around the water, or just driving around looking for good light.
I’ve always liked photographing the places around me — the Fraser Valley, the mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, and beaches of BC. A lot of the places I photograph are places I’ve actually spent time in. Golden Ears, Sumas Mountain, Matsqui Flats, the Fraser River, trails around Chilliwack, and the beaches and forests of Vancouver Island are all places I’ve ended up with a camera in my hands.
That’s really what I like about photography.
Getting somewhere, looking around, and noticing something worth remembering.

I have a Bachelor of Graphic Design for Marketing from the Wilson School of Design, so photography has always been closely connected to my design work.
I photograph people, products, businesses, outdoor spaces, landscapes, and whatever else happens to be worth photographing.
My design background is also useful when a photo needs to actually be used for something — a website, social media, advertising, print, packaging, a magazine, or a larger project. I can think about the finished piece while I’m taking the photograph, rather than just handing over a folder of images and calling it a day.
WHO I WORK WITH?
Small businesses. Outdoor brands. Local organizations. People starting something of their own. People who spend their weekends outside.
I’m not interested in making everything look overly staged or polished.
I’d rather make photographs that feel like the person, place, or business actually exists.
